Green falls into the cold water category. This means that it holds it colour well in deep water as well as low light conditions. It will produce a good silouette and works well in early morning and early evening.

This colour combination would be our 1st choice if we were fishing on a sunny day between 10:00am and 2:00pm.
Red triggers more strikes than any other colour.

White is definately a reflector of light. During the day when light is penetrating into the water this lure will reflect any available light. When no light is penetrating the water white becomes a shade of grey which will not produce a very good silouette.

Yellow also falls into the cold water category. Although it is not as visible in the lower light conditions it is probably more visible as the light increases. Start off with the green and move to the yellow as the day progresses, switch back to green as the day fades.

Fishing with pink during brighter conditions is something you have to try. We have had great success primarily with Pike, Bass and Trout.

Silver is what we consider our most natural reflective lure. We find that when the bite is slow it is then time to go with a natural colour. This is our day time choice in these conditions.

If silver is our most natural reflecting lure the brown would have to be our most natural that creates a great silouette. Can be fished anytime but excells in low light conditions.
Walleye .... Walleye .... Walleye and Bass too.

Regardless of the conditions or time of day for some reason I always start with blue. Sometimes I change it and sometimes I don't.

If you want to create the darkest silouette then this is the lure to choose. If you are ripping this lure over a weed bed or fishing in low light conditions this lure will provide the best contrast for the fish to see.

Orange is the colour you want to lead up to and follow the red lure with. An excellent choice on brighter days.
