The Popp’n Sammy techniques are numerous but all revolve around presentation. Sometimes all you have to do is let the Popp'n Sammy sit still on the surface. Other times a slight twitch of the rod tip just to create a ripple works best. We find that the most violent strikes occur after a couple of good pops followed by a short rest. Always keep an eye on the Popp'n Sammy and be ready to set the hook.
